Confirmation of Compliance with the Requirements for Issuance of the Employee Card or the Blue Card
A Confirmation of Compliance is a document issued by the Ministry of the Interior if you meet the requirements for issuance of an employee card or a blue card. Having received this confirmation, you can usually start employment.
When can you start employment based on the Confirmation of Compliance?
You can start employment at the earliest from the day the Confirmation was issued. This does not apply if you are staying in the Czech Republic temporarily without a visa. You can only work if you are staying in the Czech Republic with a short-term or a long-term visa (including a D/VR visa) or with a residence permit.
How and where can you receive the Confirmation?
Most often, you will receive the Confirmation of Compliance with the requirements for issuance of the employee card (or blue card) upon registration at a Ministry of the Interior office after your arrival in the country. Subsequently, your biometric data are usually taken and you receive your biometric card. Usually, only after the card has been issued, the proceedings come to a final end. However, with the Confirmation of Compliance you can work also before the proceedings are finally concluded.
