• you are a security risk for the State or you cause serious breaches of the peace (this applies unless there are already ongoing proceedings about your administrative removal), or
• within 3 months of your entrance into the Czech Republic, you developed a disease included in the requirements of measures adopted to prevent the spread of infectious disease, by which you pose a danger to public health.

The decision on revocation can only be taken provided that it is proportionate in terms of its effect on your private and family life.

The time limit will not be shorter than 1 month, except for cases in which the Czech Republic or its citizens are in immediate danger. You must leave the country within the given time limit.

• you tried to acquire a residence permit dishonestly, mainly by entering into a marriage of convenience or by giving consent of convenience leading to the establishment of paternity, or
• if you have been absent from the Czech Republic for more than 6 months in any one year,.

The decision on revocation can only be taken provided that it is proportionate in terms of its effect on your private and family life.

Your residence permit can also be revoked for the following reasons:

• you lose the status of EU citizen’s family member, or
• you no longer live together with an EU citizen, especially if the EU citizen has ended his/her residence in the Czech Republic or his/her temporary residence in the country has been revoked.

If you are no longer an EU citizen’s family member, but you meet the stipulated conditions, your temporary residence permit will not be revoked.

• you have been finally convicted by a Czech court for a purposeful commitment of a criminal offence to a custodial sentence, or you have been finally convicted in at least 3 cases for a purposeful commitment of a criminal offence provided that not more than 1 year elapsed between the last final conviction and the beginning of the permanent residence permit revocation proceedings.
